Needless to say, it did not take long for many people to come forward and demand an apology for the insensitive comments.
Haiti is known for being extremely impoverished, but that does not mean that generalizations about the people can be so confidently made (and on national television, no less). After all, there is only one Lorax, and Jennifer Delgado does not speak for the trees.
